・カードキャプターさくらとは、CLAMP作の日本の漫画だよ。CCさくら、CCSとも略されるよ。講談社の少女漫画雑誌『なかよし』にて1996年から2000年まで連載されたよ。単行本は全12巻あり、全50話で構成されているよ。2001年には第32回星雲賞（コミック部門）を受賞したよ。アニメ化、ゲーム化などのメディアミックス展開もされたよ。2016年からは続編の「クリアカード編」が連載されているよ。

この漫画は、魔法のカードを集める少女・木之本桜（以下、「さくら」）とその仲間たちの冒険と成長を描いているんだ。さくらは、友枝小学校に通う小学4年生で、父・藤隆と兄・桃矢と3人暮らしで、兄の親友・雪兎に憧れているんだ。ある日、父の書庫で不思議な本を見つけると、その本から封印の獣ケルベロス（ケロちゃん）が現れたんだ。その本は、魔術師クロウ・リードが作った魔法のカード「クロウカード」が入っていたんだ。クロウカードは全53枚あり、それぞれに特殊な力を持っているんだ。

さくらが本を開いたことで、クロウカードは全て散らばってしまったんだ。クロウカードが封印が解かれるとこの世に「災い」が訪れるというから、さくらはケルベロスによって「カードキャプター」にされたんだ。カードキャプターとは、クロウカードを回収する者のことで、封印の杖という魔法の道具を使ってカードを捕まえることができるんだ。さくらはカードキャプターになってから、親友の大道寺知世やクロウの血縁の少年・李小狼（リ・シャオラン）と一緒に、クロウカードの起こした事件を解決しながら、カード集めに奮闘するんだ。

そしてクロウカードが全て集まった時、ケルベロスに対するもう1人の守護者にして審判者「月」（ユエ）が現れたんだ。それは雪兎の真の姿であったんだ。さくらは正式なカードの主となるため、「最後の審判」という試練に挑んだんだ。「最後の審判」とは、さくらが主に相応しいか否かを見極める試練で、内容は封印したクロウカードを使って月と対決して勝つというものだったんだ。さくらが月に負ければ、「この世の災い」という恐ろしいことが起こるというから、さくらは必死に戦ったんだ。「この世の災い」とは、クロウカードとクロウカードに関わった者全てから一番大切な者の記憶が消えるというものだったんだ。

容赦ない月に対して、月を傷つけたくないさくらは逃げ回るだけでなかなか反撃できなかったんだ。しかし、そんな中で観月歌帆は、さくらに月の鈴を渡したんだ。実は、月の鈴はクロウ・リードが新しい主となるさくらを助けるために作ったものだったんだ。鈴の力で、封印の杖を星の杖に変えたさくらは、月を無傷のまま捕らえることに成功したんだ。月に勝ったさくらはクロウカードの新たな主として認められたんだ。

その後も奇妙な事件が起こり続けていて、さくらは星の杖でクロウカードを使おうとするけど呪文が通じなかったんだ。そこで自分の魔力をクロウカードに注ぎ込むことで、「さくらカード」に変えることができるようになったんだ。さくらカードに変える過程でさくらは魔力を消耗し、月もさくらから魔力を補給できず消滅する危機に迫られていたんだ。桃矢は月の仮の姿でもある雪兎を守るため、自分の魔力を月に譲渡することを選んだんだ。その際さくらは自分の「好き」という気持ちを雪兎に告白したけど、「さくらの一番好きな人は別にいる」と告げられてしまったんだ。

事件の首謀者である柊沢エリオルはクロウ・リードの生まれ変わりであり、従者のスピネル・サン（スッピー）や秋月奈久留（あきづきなくる）/ルビー・ムーンと共に暗躍していたんだ 。闇の力で作られたクロウカードはさくら自身が持つ星の力では維持できず、やがて魔力を失いただのカードになってしまうんだ 。エリオルはクロウ・リードの魔力が尽きたことで、この世界に留まることができなくなったんだ 。だから、さくらに自分の魔力を受け継いでもらうために、さくらを試すように仕向けたんだ 。エリオルはさくらに自分の正体を明かし、さくらに自分の魔力を受け取ってほしいと頼んだんだ 。さくらはエリオルの魔力を受け取り、クロウカードを全てさくらカードに変えることができたんだ 。エリオルはさくらに感謝し、スッピーとルビーと共にこの世界から去っていったんだ 。

・Cardcaptor Sakura is a Japanese manga created by CLAMP. It is also abbreviated as "CC Sakura" or "CCS." The manga was serialized in Kodansha's shōjo manga magazine "Nakayoshi" from 1996 to 2000. It consists of 12 tankōbon volumes and a total of 50 chapters. In 2001, it received the 32nd Seiun Award (Comic category). It has also been adapted into an anime and a game, among other media mix adaptations. A sequel called "Clear Card Arc" has been serialized since 2016.

This manga depicts the adventures and growth of Sakura Kinomoto, a girl who collects magical cards, and her friends. Sakura is a fourth-grade student attending Tomoeda Elementary School. She lives with her father, Fujitaka, and her older brother, Touya. She admires her brother's best friend, Yukito. One day, she discovers a mysterious book in her father's library, and a sealed beast named Cerberus (Kero-chan) appears from the book. The book contains magical cards called "Clow Cards," created by the sorcerer Clow Reed. There are a total of 53 Clow Cards, each possessing unique powers.

When Sakura opens the book, all the Clow Cards scatter. As it is said that calamity will befall the world when the Clow Cards are unsealed, Sakura becomes a "Cardcaptor" under the guidance of Keroberos. A Cardcaptor is someone who retrieves the Clow Cards and can capture them using a magical tool called the Sealing Wand. Since becoming a Cardcaptor, Sakura, along with her best friend Tomoyo Daidouji and a boy with a blood connection to Clow Reed named Syaoran Li, solves incidents caused by the Clow Cards and struggles to collect them.

When all the Clow Cards are gathered, another guardian and judge named "Moon" (Yue) appears before Cerberus. Yue is actually the true form of Yukito. Sakura challenges the trial known as the "Final Judgment" to become the rightful owner of the Clow Cards. The Final Judgment is a test to determine whether Sakura is worthy of being the true owner. The test involves using the sealed Clow Cards to confront and defeat Yue. Sakura fights desperately because losing to Yue would result in a terrifying event known as the "calamity of this world," where the memories of the most precious person to everyone related to the Clow Cards would disappear.

Unable to effectively counter Yue, whom she doesn't want to hurt, Sakura can't fight back easily. However, during that time, Tomoyo gives Sakura the bell of the moon. In truth, the bell was created by Clow Reed to assist Sakura in becoming the new master. With the power of the bell, Sakura transforms her Sealing Wand into the Star Wand and successfully captures Yue without harming him. Having defeated Yue, Sakura is recognized as the new master of the Clow Cards.

Strange incidents continued to occur afterward, and Sakura attempted to use the Star Staff to activate the Clow Cards, but the spells didn't work. As a result, she learned to pour her own magical power into the Clow Cards, transforming them into "Sakura Cards." During the process of converting the cards, Sakura depleted her magical power, and there was a crisis where Yue, unable to replenish magic from Sakura, faced the risk of disappearing. To protect Yukito, who is also Yue's temporary form, Touya chose to transfer his own magical power to Yue. At that moment, Sakura confessed her feelings of love to Yukito, but he told her that there is someone else whom Sakura loves the most.

The mastermind behind the incidents, Eriol Hiiragizawa, is the reincarnation of Clow Reed and had been scheming alongside his servants, Spinel Sun (Spinel) and Nakuru Akizuki/Ruby Moon. The Clow Cards, created with dark magic, cannot be sustained by Sakura's own star power and eventually lose their magic, becoming ordinary cards. With Clow Reed's magic depleted, he can no longer remain in this world. Therefore, he orchestrated events to test Sakura and asked her to accept his magic. Eriol revealed his true identity to Sakura and requested that she inherit his magical power. Sakura accepted Eriol's magic, enabling her to transform all the Clow Cards into Sakura Cards. Eriol expressed his gratitude to Sakura and departed from this world along with Spinel and Ruby.
